Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features for Wallet, Payments & Commerce web properties.
- Build customer-facing web applications and Node.js BFF layers for complex user interfaces.
- Own tasks from inception through delivery and independently drive ambiguous deliverables to milestones.
- Collaborate with Server, Native, Design, and QA teams.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented code and contribute to quality and performance improvements.
- Apply algorithms, data structures, system design, web security, and cryptographic concepts to architectural decisions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years delivering production-grade, customer-facing web software with measurable quality and performance outcomes.
- At least 2 years building Node.js BFF layers serving complex web UIs at scale.
- Advanced production proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Vue.
- Ability to independently drive ambiguous work with accountability for milestones.
- Solid computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and system design.
- Working knowledge of web security principles and cryptographic concepts for frontend and API design.
- Preferred experience with Nuxt or Next.js, Vite or Webpack, Cypress or Playwright, accessible design systems, iOS or hybrid mobile development, and WebSockets, WebRTC, or WebGL.
