Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python backend services and Flask REST APIs.
- Build scalable, high-performance backend applications using Redis caching and PostgreSQL.
- Develop and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Manage end-to-end application development, deployment, enhancement, and production support.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and deploy applications in Azure cloud and container environments.
- Develop and optimize large-scale data processing and transformation workflows with Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance, reliability, and security optimization.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and data engineering teams on cross-functional delivery.
Requirements
- Experience with Python backend development and Flask API or REST API development.
- Experience with Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Azure cloud services, Databricks, Apache Spark, PostgreSQL, and Git.
- Knowledge of containerized and cloud-native application deployment.
- Experience with microservices architecture is preferred.
- Ability to debug effectively, solve problems, work independently, and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum-based project delivery and end-to-end ownership of the backend development lifecycle is preferred.
