Responsibilities
- Own full-stack features from component design and backend services through deployment and end-to-end production delivery.
- Instrument client-side performance, error tracking, and real-user monitoring, along with backend logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and dashboards.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to build, test, and release elastic.co features.
- Write maintainable production code and own its behavior after release.
- Triage, investigate, resolve, validate, and coordinate disclosure of security vulnerabilities.
- Participate in team code reviews.
- Diagnose production issues across client regressions and backend failures and participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a full-stack or frontend role.
- Strong TypeScript and React experience, including component architecture, performance, and state management.
- Hands-on experience building, deploying, debugging, and maintaining backend services with Node.js, Python, or Go.
- Experience owning CI/CD pipelines, including front-end build tooling, bundle optimization, and deployment automation; GitHub Actions or Jenkins experience is applicable.
- Experience building highly available and scalable production systems, writing secure code, identifying vulnerabilities, and resolving security issues.
- Demonstrated use of AI to accelerate development, debug complex systems, and optimize code while retaining ownership of outcomes.
- Ability to work autonomously in a globally distributed team.
