Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable software architecture and APIs for checkout using PHP and Go.
- Translate complex business requirements into clean, idiomatic Go implementations in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
- Build high-throughput, low-latency services using Go concurrency primitives such as goroutines and channels.
- Optimize MySQL data layers and Redis caching through indexing, query tuning, caching patterns, and data structures.
- Own technical initiatives from initial design through production deployment.
- Apply modern engineering practices including test-driven development, pair programming, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor developers through code reviews and collaborative sessions.
- Explore modern tooling, including AI coding assistants and GenAI tools, to improve development workflows or product features.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on backend engineering experience.
- Strong experience with modern PHP 8+ and frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel.
- Deep experience writing idiomatic Go and using goroutines and channels.
- Solid understanding of core engineering principles, clean architecture, and distributed system design.
- Strong experience with MySQL indexing and query tuning and Redis caching patterns and data structures.
- Hands-on experience or active interest in GenAI tools for development workflows or product features.
- Ability to independently solve complex technical tasks from design through production deployment.
- Strong English communication, collaboration, mentoring, and code-quality skills.
