Responsibilities
- Configure, develop, test, and deploy Data 360 implementations in customer sandboxes and production environments.
- Build ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution, data integration, and materialized data views across batch and streaming sources.
- Create and maintain RAG, vector database, search index, embedding, and knowledge-base integrations for Agentforce.
- Design and implement MCP and agent-to-agent communication protocols and integrations.
- Apply secure data management, authentication, authorization, governance, and enterprise security controls.
- Create representative test data and validate access boundaries, failure conditions, hierarchy behavior, and customer-scale performance.
- Troubleshoot ingestion failures, schema drift, identity anomalies, query behavior, API errors, permissions, and activation latency.
- Document implementation tradeoffs and package metadata, scripts, queries, tests, and runbooks for deployment and support.
- Co-build with customer teams and partners, support production handoff and stabilization, and surface reproducible platform gaps to Product and Support.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or technical implementation, including a production data solution that can be explained in detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Data 360/Data Cloud or a comparable enterprise data platform across ingestion, modeling, identity, insight, activation, and operations.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise data platforms or technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Kafka, cloud object storage, or enterprise MDM platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL and fluency in at least one of Apex, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Understanding of data modeling, APIs, integration patterns, batch and streaming processing, and copied, federated, and Zero Copy data access.
- Experience building retrieval systems such as vector databases, search indexes, embedding pipelines, or knowledge bases for AI applications.
- Experience implementing OAuth, SAML, event-driven architectures, secure data access, permissions, entitlements, consent, user context, and negative test cases.
- Ability to diagnose technical problems methodically, use logs and query evidence, document reproducible results, and implement against documented architectures.
- Experience delivering alongside customers, partners, professional services, or implementation teams in deadline-driven environments.
- Relevant Salesforce Agentforce, Data 360, and Salesforce Platform certifications.
- Willingness and ability to work directly with customer administrators, developers, data engineers, and architects.
