Responsibilities
- Develop, design, code, and enhance custom software components and applications using IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather and analyze software requirements.
- Maintain and improve existing applications for performance and user experience.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex software issues on IBM System i platforms.
- Document software designs, processes, and updates.
- Work independently, contribute to team discussions, and provide solutions to work-related problems.
- Guide and support junior team members with project requirements and technical challenges.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV.
- Proficiency in IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV is required.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues on IBM System i platforms.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Familiarity with database management and integration in custom software solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
