Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and support scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Write efficient SQL queries and work with relational databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
- Deploy and support applications on AWS cloud infrastructure using relevant AWS services.
- Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to production support and performance improvements.
- Participate in code reviews, automated deployment processes, Agile/Scrum ceremonies, and continuous engineering improvement.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on Java backend development experience.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
- Experience developing REST APIs and RESTful web services.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Mandatory hands-on AWS experience with actual project or deployment experience.
- Experience with backend debugging, performance optimization, and Agile development environments.
- Practical experience building and supporting real-world backend applications; candidates with 4–5 years of experience are welcome.
