Responsibilities
- Own critical projects that improve codebase management and automation capabilities.
- Collaborate with platform teams, product teams, engineers, technical leads, and product managers to deliver tooling solutions.
- Prototype solutions quickly and refine successful approaches into robust, scalable tools.
- Design systems with long-term change and scale in mind.
- Provide feedback on technical designs and support data-driven engineering decisions.
- Mentor and coach other engineers.
Requirements
- Expertise in the relevant technical discipline and understanding of the team’s technical, product, and business domain.
- At least 5 years of experience building backend systems, distributed systems, or data-intensive systems.
- Experience working in product engineering teams.
- Ability to design scalable systems and mentor and coach engineers.
- Experience running machine learning or large language models in production is preferred but not required.
