Base Salary
$149k - $238k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify and remove friction across customer and third-party partner experiences across multiple teams.
- Own the partner onboarding experience from initial integration discussions through production launch.
- Define and evangelize common frameworks for deploying and managing integrations at scale.
- Build the cross-team integration and platform technical roadmap across incident management, drones, alarms, vehicle location, cameras, LPR, RMS, and CAD.
- Lead architecture and design reviews and maintain a high technical bar through code and architecture reviews.
- Mentor and grow engineers across multiple squads.
- Partner with Product, Design, Engineering leadership, integration partners, and Professional Services to deliver scalable integration solutions.
- Improve engineering processes, including long-term planning, sprint planning, and stand-ups.
- Build highly available, low-latency services for a mission-critical environment.
- Use AI to create new customer experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Track record of driving technical work across multiple teams and shipping through influence rather than authority.
- Experience designing and delivering highly available, scalable cloud-based systems and remotely managed software.
- Experience building and deploying Windows services.
- Backend service experience with multiple managed languages such as Python, Java, Go, or C#.
- Frontend experience with JavaScript, Angular, React, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL data stores.
- Experience with realtime streaming event logs or messaging technologies such as Kafka or ActiveMQ.
- Experience with cloud-based APIs, infrastructure, AWS services, and cloud-based integration solutions.
- Preferred experience owning external-facing API integrations at scale, including partner onboarding, versioning, and developer experience.
