Responsibilities

Develop ecommerce features and administrative or internal tooling in WordPress under the direction of a senior engineer.
Implement and maintain integrations between WordPress, internal systems, and third-party services.
Design, develop, test, and maintain software addressing defects and user stories.
Create test fixtures and supporting code and assist quality control with automated test coverage.
Participate in code reviews, story and defect planning, sizing, breakdown, and status communication.
Document completed work and coordinate with developers and stakeholders on implementation decisions.
Continuously develop expertise in Mastercam’s business processes and work in technologies outside WordPress as needed.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
1–3 years of experience developing web applications, or equivalent demonstrable project work.
Working knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience developing custom WordPress functionality, including themes or plugins rather than configuration alone.
Familiarity with source control and peer review practices.
Exposure to relational databases, SQL, and agile software development.
Ecommerce or payment-processing experience is preferred.
Experience using AI-enabled tools or automation to improve productivity, or the ability to rapidly learn and apply such technologies.
Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Ability to learn quickly, raise blockers in writing, and respond constructively to code review feedback.

Full-time position located in Pune, Koregaon Park, India.
