Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and scale production AI/ML solutions including agentic AI systems, LLM applications, model-serving platforms, and MLOps pipelines.
- Architect and optimize multi-agent workflows involving tool use, planning, retrieval, memory, and production deployment.
- Build scalable, maintainable, secure, and high-performance software for high-throughput, low-latency workloads.
- Shape technical direction, advise senior stakeholders, and communicate complex architectures across business and engineering teams.
- Establish enterprise-grade reliability, security, governance, monitoring, evaluation, and responsible AI practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and business units to deliver aligned solutions.
- Mentor and coach engineering teams and less experienced specialists while contributing to technical communities.
- Manage risks and strengthen controls related to AI engineering work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of software engineering experience or experience designing and building scalable ML infrastructure, model-serving platforms, and enterprise MLOps systems.
- Expert proficiency in Python with FastAPI and asynchronous patterns, and/or Go or Java, with experience building production systems.
- Strong experience developing agentic AI systems and LLM applications, including multi-agent orchestration, tool use, planning frameworks, and production deployment.
- Deep knowledge of LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and agentic frameworks such as Strands, LangGraph, and Google ADK.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI/LLM systems, model serving with vLLM, loop engineering, and OpenAI-compatible APIs.
- Experience with AWS services, Docker, Kubernetes, distributed systems architecture, replication, failover, and data consistency patterns.
- Preferred experience with agent evaluation and observability, vector databases, knowledge graphs, semantic search, memory systems, AI safety guardrails, AI security, model fine-tuning, responsible AI, financial services, policy engines, zero-trust identity, OAuth2/OIDC, and AI infrastructure cost attribution.
- Ability to communicate complex technical architectures to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
