Responsibilities
- Build server-side web technologies and APIs for products and integrations.
- Develop and enhance scalable backend processing pipelines capable of supporting millions of concurrent users.
- Collaborate with product analysts, product managers, web engineers, and frontend and backend engineers to deliver features.
- Review and validate AI-generated outputs and remain accountable for final deliverables.
- Perform unit and integration testing, participate in bug-bash activities, and conduct peer code reviews.
- Follow Scrum and Agile practices and contribute to product and sprint backlog management.
- Propose and participate in adopting new technologies and trends.
Requirements
- Experience with at least one server-side web technology such as ASP.NET, C#, Java Spring/Spring Boot, Node.js, or Python.
- Experience designing APIs and web middleware.
- Hands-on experience with Visual Studio 2019 and SQL Server Management Studio.
- In-depth knowledge of frameworks such as .NET or Java and experience designing scalable applications.
- Ability to implement design patterns and develop application logic.
- Required proficiency with Claude and familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT; successful completion of a Claude-based assessment is required.
- Preferred experience with ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET 5, .NET libraries, Windows services, SignalR, gRPC, WebSockets, Azure DevOps, AWS, Google PaaS services, distributed applications, video streaming, containers, Elasticsearch, Dapper, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Zipkin, Consul, ZooKeeper, Redis, WSL/2, or mDNS.
- BS/BSc or higher in Computer Science.
- The posting states 0–5+ years of backend development experience.
- Ability to work independently, strong business acumen, ownership mindset, and good English verbal and written communication skills.
- Authorization to work legally is required.
