Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate user requirements with product managers and engineers.
- Review and validate AI-generated outputs and take ownership of final deliverables.
- Communicate scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and mock-ups with the team.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Angular, React, and JavaScript.
- Create reusable widgets and components for efficient development.
- Build and maintain scalable server-side technologies and APIs for products and integrations.
- Develop backend processing pipelines for scalability and performance.
- Ensure application security, scalability, and elasticity for high-traffic applications.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, peer code reviews, and bug-bash activities.
- Research and adopt technologies that improve application performance.
- Follow and enforce Agile Scrum development practices.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Angular, React, and JavaScript.
- Experience with at least one backend technology such as ASP.NET, C#, Java Spring Boot, Node.js, or Python.
- Expertise in API development and middleware for web applications.
- Knowledge of SQL Server, Visual Studio 2019, and SQL Server Management Studio.
- Experience designing scalable applications and understanding security best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum development processes.
- Preferred experience with ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET 5, SignalR, gRPC, and WebSockets.
- Preferred hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, AWS, or Google PaaS Services.
- Preferred knowledge of system-level programming, including sockets, multithreading, and distributed applications.
- Preferred exposure to video streaming technologies and encoders/decoders.
- Preferred experience with containers, Elasticsearch, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Zipkin, Consul, ZooKeeper, Redis, gRPC protocols, and mDNS.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related IT field.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and data-structuring concepts.
- Must be legally authorized to work.
- Must be able to use AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar while independently validating accuracy, completeness, logic, compliance, and business alignment.
- Strong business acumen, ownership, and ability to drive outcomes with minimal task-level direction.
