Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of solution or infrastructure development services for small to medium-sized projects.
- Design, develop, and oversee maintenance of SAP-based solutions and infrastructure deliverables.
- Translate user requirements into design specifications and review the technical work of others.
- Make design decisions through proofs of concept and guide team development toward successful delivery.
- Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and architects to build, test, and maintain SAP applications.
- Collect and document user requirements, user stories, estimates, and work plans.
- Develop cloud-native applications and integrations with on-premises systems using SAP BTP.
- Develop automations using SAP Build Process Automation, Python, or Java and resolve SAP-related issues.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship while maintaining software quality standards.
- Explore AI, machine learning, SAP Joule, generative AI, and RPA capabilities for business-process automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or a related field preferred; B.Tech, M.Tech, or MCA with a 70% or higher aggregate score from IIT, NIT, or another tier-1 institute preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in core design and development, including 2–3 years of experience with cloud technologies.
- Experience developing cloud applications using SAP Business Application Studio and CAPM.
- Strong knowledge of SAP BTP architecture, BTP services, HANA Cloud Integration, and Cloud Foundry.
- Java or Node.js development experience building cloud-native applications and integrations with on-premises systems.
- Experience with SAPUI5, HTML5, React, or comparable frontend web application frameworks.
- Understanding of cloud identity and access management standards including SAML, SCIM, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
- Experience with SAP BAS, SAP BTP Cockpit, GitHub, software quality practices, testing, source control, build processes, and releases.
- Knowledge of SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, and HR, along with SAP APIs and BAPIs.
- Experience with microservices architecture, SAP automation, business-process optimization, and debugging automation scripts.
- Knowledge or proof-of-concept experience with SAP Joule, Gen AI Hub, and AI/ML-enhanced automation.
- Familiarity with RPA tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere integrated with SAP.
- Strong solution-design, analytical, logical, communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
- Understanding of agile and Scrum processes and experience providing technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship.
