Responsibilities
- Define software requirements and write clean, scalable, maintainable code for cloud-native applications.
- Build REST APIs using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
- Develop Lambda functions with Python and/or Node.js.
- Design and deploy cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
- Integrate applications with AWS S3, ECS, ECR, DynamoDB, IAM, RDS, Amplify, and Cognito.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver and ship new features.
- Participate in code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, technical documentation, and troubleshooting.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, API speed, and scalability.
- Maintain applications throughout the software development life cycle.
Requirements
- Engineering graduate or postgraduate degree from a recognized college or university.
- 5 to 8 years of backend development experience and 5 to 8 years of Python development experience.
- 2 to 8 years of AWS development experience and 2 to 8 years of Node.js development experience.
- Proven hands-on experience with Java and Java Spring Boot as mandatory skills.
- Experience developing AWS serverless applications using Lambda and API Gateway.
- Hands-on experience with AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with Git and agile development methodologies.
- Strong logical reasoning, analytical thinking, communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, collaboration, and ownership skills.
- Preferred experience with unit testing, GitLab or Azure DevOps deployment pipelines, monorepo patterns, Docker, containerization, and event-driven architectures.
