Responsibilities
- Engineer capabilities for the Equity Finance Trading platform according to the book of work.
- Conduct code reviews of development performed by other team members.
- Resolve high-impact problems through detailed analysis of business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
- Provide application-development expertise and ensure designs follow the overall architecture blueprint.
- Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Assess and manage technology and business risks while complying with applicable laws, policies, and regulations.
- Work with users and global technologists to deliver business solutions across geographies and time zones.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in application development or systems analysis.
- Experience analyzing systems and programming software applications.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Subject-matter expertise in at least one area of applications development.
- Extensive development experience with Java, Kafka, SQL, Git, and JMS.
- Fluency with modern CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
- Experience performing QA and applying TDD and BDD practices.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic-thinking abilities, with flexibility to adjust priorities and work in a high-pressure global environment.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Equity Finance or Securities Lending is preferred.
- Exposure to AI solutions for accelerating development is beneficial.
