Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable AKS/Kubernetes infrastructure for GPU and AI accelerator environments.
- Build services and automation for cluster provisioning, configuration, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Develop node lifecycle, health monitoring, failure detection, automated recovery, deployment, and accelerator resource-management solutions.
- Improve scalability, reliability, availability, telemetry, observability, diagnostics, and operational readiness across distributed accelerator infrastructure.
- Diagnose complex issues across Kubernetes, containers, Linux, networking, and accelerator infrastructure.
- Collaborate with control-plane, systems software, hardware, and platform teams on end-to-end solutions.
- Contribute to architecture reviews, engineering practices, code quality, mentoring, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience with 8+ years of industry-relevant experience.
- Strong software development skills in Go, C++, C#, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience building distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or platform services and developing reliable production software.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native technologies.
- Strong understanding of scalability, concurrency, state management, resiliency, and failure recovery in distributed systems.
- Ability to debug complex distributed systems, solve problems, collaborate across teams, and rapidly develop expertise in complex infrastructure technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, large-scale Kubernetes, cluster or node provisioning, controllers or operators, scheduling, resource management, GPU or AI accelerator infrastructure, Linux, networking, host-level system software, virtualization, observability, diagnostics, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience using AI-assisted development and workflows for code generation, comprehension, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, learning, and infrastructure automation is preferred.
