Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services and APIs for data ingestion and delivery.
- Own data storage and pipeline architecture, integrating with streaming infrastructure.
- Implement authentication and authorization in line with cloud identity management.
- Provide technical direction for frontend development in collaboration with frontend engineers.
- Collaborate with computer vision and data science engineers on data contracts.
- Participate in technical decision-making for architecture and product development.
- Contribute to the technical leadership of the engineering team.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering background with production experience in Java.
- Experience building low-latency, high-throughput systems.
- Working knowledge of modern frontend frameworks like React/TypeScript.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and event-driven architectures.
- Experience designing and evolving API contracts in a fast-moving environment.
- Familiarity with cloud identity and access management approaches is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to mentor engineers.
