Base Salary
$139k - $236k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop algorithms and software implementations for computer vision, sensor fusion, registration, machine learning, and medical image analytics.
- Prototype and iterate on designs, develop tests, and deliver high-quality software in Python and/or C++.
- Contribute to PlanPoint software, robot navigation, and medical image insights across the product development lifecycle.
- Participate in failure mode assessment and implement robust hazard mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate state-of-the-art computer vision and sensor-fusion research and work cross-functionally on the Ion project.
Requirements
- Master’s degree and four years of experience, or a PhD and one or more years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in medical image analytics, computer vision, or machine learning.
- Exceptional working knowledge of Python and/or C++.
- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
- High autonomy and technical ownership.
- Preferred: expertise in object-oriented programming; knowledge of PyTorch, TensorFlow, ITK, OpenCV, or other image-insights toolkits; and project experience in medical devices or another regulated industry.
