Base Salary
$324k - $337k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive developer productivity and AI developer tooling projects affecting more than 500 developers.
- Define technical vision and strategy for six or more engineering teams with the Developer Productivity Group Tech Lead.
- Build and align the roadmap for Asana’s development platform and improve software development lifecycle feedback loops.
- Own internal tooling that enables engineers to delegate work to agents across harnesses.
- Mentor senior and staff-level engineers across Developer Productivity, Foundations, and the broader Engineering organization.
- Advise team-level technical leads on technical planning, architecture, design, and prioritization of technical debt.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a technical contributor working on large-scale products.
- 2+ years owning a build system, developer environment, CI, or equivalent at an organization with 200+ engineers.
- Experience making and delegating technical decisions with organization-wide impact.
- Fluency in current AI developer tooling and the ability to collaborate with teams and set direction.
- Strong coaching and mentoring abilities across experience levels.
- Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies and willingness to use them to improve productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.
