Responsibilities
- Design and develop autonomous AI agents for multi-step reasoning, planning, tool execution, and complex manufacturing workflow automation.
- Implement agentic frameworks integrating LLMs with internal APIs, databases, and software tools.
- Build evaluation harnesses to benchmark agent accuracy, reliability, and task success.
- Profile agent and inference workloads and resolve compute, latency, and orchestration bottlenecks using observability and profiling tools.
- Implement interoperable multi-agent systems using the A2A protocol and MCP tools, plugins, and skills.
- Create and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines for AI agents running on Kubernetes and containerized cloud environments.
- Design security controls including sandboxing, access control, and mitigations for prompt injection and tool misuse.
- Mentor engineers on agentic system design and optimization techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related technical field is required; a Ph.D. is a plus.
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience spanning large-scale data/ML pipelines and/or production Agentic AI systems.
- Experience optimizing inference engines such as vLLM and TensorRT-LLM for autonomous AI agent and LLM workloads.
- Experience developing generative AI applications and AI agents with agent frameworks; Microsoft Agent Framework or Google Agent Development Kit is preferred.
- Proficiency with LLMs, prompt engineering, function calling, tool use, and Chain-of-Thought reasoning.
- Experience designing and implementing RAG pipelines involving document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, and vector search.
- Experience building and operating systems that automate testing, evaluation, and deployment of autonomous AI agents.
- Familiarity with MCP and A2A, AI agent security practices, machine learning frameworks, software development, scripting, cloud environments, and Kubernetes.
- Preferred experience includes multi-agent systems, agent swarms, agent profiling and evaluation, LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, TypeScript, Rust, computer vision, signal processing, and productionizing data science prototypes.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet critical project timelines.
