Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize search and recommendation algorithms using information retrieval and machine learning.
- Work across indexing, recall, rough sorting, fine sorting, reranking, and mix-ranking components.
- Optimize trillion-scale index libraries, trillion-parameter models, long-term user modeling, and large-scale sparse models.
- Research next-generation ranking models powered by large models and world knowledge.
- Explore multimodal machine learning, generative models, scaling laws, sparse mixture-of-experts, and reinforcement learning for search and recommendation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related technical discipline.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, or Java, with strong algorithms and data structures knowledge.
- Solid knowledge of machine learning and practical experience applying it.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Modeling experience in advertising, search engines, recommender systems, NLP, or computer vision is preferred.
