Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance processes, tools, infrastructure, pipelines, data marts, and curated data structures supporting enterprise analytics and AI/ML deployments.
  • Collaborate with data scientists on DevOps, SecOps, FinOps, infrastructure planning, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and monitoring capabilities.
  • Develop and optimize complex cloud data platform solutions, data models, data movement processes, and production data products.
  • Apply data governance, metadata, data quality, data stewardship, and analytics standards across multiple data domains.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, tune solution performance, and establish countermeasures.
  • Lead complex projects, manage dependencies and expectations, participate in cross-functional working groups, and support peer reviews and engineering standards.
  • Consult with and support other data engineers, analysts, clinicians, senior leaders, and users across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, business management, business analytics, business administration, or a directly related field is required.
  • At least 7 years of experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence, or healthcare technology, or at least 3 years of development experience with cloud data lake technologies is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of relational database concepts, data modeling, cloud data platforms, data governance, and DevOps practices.
  • Expert knowledge of SQL and demonstrated ability to work across multiple data domains.
  • Experience developing secure, highly automated production solutions using technologies such as Azure, Databricks, PySpark, notebooks, and GitHub.
  • Ability to complete complex projects independently, communicate with varied audiences, and troubleshoot moderately to highly complex solutions.
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, collaboration, leadership, and technical consulting skills.

  • Base pay scale generally starting at $66.52–$88.14 per hour.
