Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows for network devices, servers, and cloud infrastructure.
- Build reusable infrastructure-as-code templates and playbooks using Ansible, Terraform, Python, or similar tools.
- Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, validation, and deployment for infrastructure changes.
- Collaborate with network, cloud, and security teams to convert manual processes into version-controlled automation.
- Develop self-service automation capabilities and internal platform tooling.
- Integrate workflow orchestration tools such as BlinkOps to automate cross-domain processes.
- Implement configuration compliance checks, drift detection, and automated remediation.
- Maintain source-of-truth data in NetBox and uphold data quality standards.
- Document automation processes, architecture decisions, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and track developments in automation, infrastructure as code, and platform engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
- Preferred 5+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure automation, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with network technologies including routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless, such as Cisco or Palo Alto.
- Advanced English proficiency and proficiency in Python plus at least one infrastructure-as-code tool such as Ansible or Terraform.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Git and code review workflows.
- Experience with API-driven automation using REST, NETCONF, or RESTCONF.
- Exposure to workflow orchestration and observability tools such as Grafana or Prometheus.
- Understanding of Azure, AWS, or GCP and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Strong background in automation and DevOps.
