Responsibilities
- Develop applications that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Design software components and individual programs in collaboration with technical subject matter experts.
- Construct unit tests and follow established design and code standards.
- Create and maintain system documentation.
- Provide production support for applications as needed.
- Work with architects, product managers, project managers, business partners, external clients, and end users to define and implement solutions.
- Apply software development methodologies based on project needs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.
- Monitor and mitigate risk through day-to-day risk and control processes, escalating issues appropriately.
Requirements
- At least four years of related experience.
- Four or more years of experience with Java, Spring, PostgreSQL or Oracle, Kafka, TestNG, Amazon Web Services, and related technologies.
- Experience with middleware technologies.
- Exposure to Amazon Q and Amazon Kiro.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to plan, document technical requirements, design, develop, test, and support software systems and applications.
