Responsibilities
- Partner with AI/ML platform teams, product management, designers, and developers to deliver accessible AI products and features.
- Build AI-powered accessibility tools, including prompt libraries, evaluation frameworks, automated testing systems, and remediation tools.
- Design and architect prompt systems that encode accessibility best practices for AI code generation across React, LWC, and native mobile frameworks.
- Create and manage annotated datasets of accessible and inaccessible components and fine-tune models for accessibility detection and remediation.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on WCAG and ARIA accessibility standards.
- Train product teams to use AI accessibility tools, interpret results, and integrate accessibility checks earlier in development.
- Review AI-powered accessibility features, analyze false positives and negatives, and improve detection accuracy.
- Develop accessibility-focused AI features such as AI-powered closed captioning and real-time accessibility remediation.
- Publish internal findings, drive adoption of AI and accessibility innovations, and provide support to engineering and product teams.
Requirements
- Expertise in digital accessibility standards, especially WCAG and ARIA.
- Experience with AI/ML systems, including prompt systems, training datasets, model fine-tuning, evaluation, and remediation workflows.
- Ability to design accessible AI-powered products and tools across React, LWC, and native mobile environments.
- Ability to collaborate with AI/ML platform teams, product managers, designers, developers, and product organizations.
- Ability to educate teams, analyze model false positives and negatives, and improve accessibility detection accuracy.
- Ability to act as an accessibility subject matter expert, mentor, and evangelist.
