Base Salary
$117k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide security advisory and strategic guidance for large-scale cloud initiatives and enterprise architectures.
- Conduct architecture reviews and threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities and develop risk mitigation plans across the software development lifecycle.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to design secure solutions that balance functional and security requirements.
- Work with Product Business Information Security Officers to prioritize risk-based security initiatives and shape security roadmaps using risk signals and emerging threats.
- Serve as a primary security contact for engineering partners and leadership and influence secure outcomes without direct organizational authority.
Requirements
- Require 3–5 years of experience in security engineering, security architecture, or security assurance.
- Require experience securing products and infrastructure in one or more public cloud environments, including knowledge of cloud service models, shared responsibility boundaries, and identity primitives.
- Require experience with structured security design reviews, threat modeling, common vulnerability classes, and communicating security risk to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Require understanding of authentication, authorization, network security, key management, certificate lifecycles, secrets handling, and encryption standards.
- Require strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with abuse cases, attack paths, penetration testing or offensive security techniques, secure development lifecycle programs, security review processes, structured data analysis, and cloud-native code, containers, service meshes, PKI, CSPM, vulnerability scanning, SAST, or infrastructure-as-code security scanning.
