Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform Kubernetes security reviews and research and reproduce vulnerabilities.
- Lead development of secure operational practices and provide security guidance to mitigate the product’s top threats.
- Partner with Google security teams to build a long-term threat detection strategy for GKE.
- Review designs for security gaps through one-time reviews and longer-term engagements.
- Help deliver and harden a managed Kubernetes platform for AI/ML and GenAI workloads.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security, and security protocols.
- Five years of experience in distributed cloud computing, including three years with containerization and container orchestration technologies such as GKE.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: five years of experience with identity and access management, data protection, encryption, certificate and key management, and other standard IT security practices.
- Preferred: five years of experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, GCP techniques such as prompt engineering, dual encoders, and embedding vectors, and building prototypes or applications.
- Experience with cloud platforms, distributed systems, and Google Kubernetes Engine, along with stakeholder-management and written and verbal communication skills.
Benefits
- US base pay is $174000 - $252000 USD, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
