Base Salary
$152k - $169k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop normalization, enrichment, triage, and automated response workflows for security detection events.
- Design, operate, and improve SOAR workflows and integrations with SIEM, EDR, CTI, ticketing systems, and external services.
- Develop LLM-based triage, analysis, confidence scoring, and automated response orchestration for the AI-SOC framework.
- Operate logging and monitoring infrastructure and manage incidents affecting SOAR and security automation systems.
- Analyze workflow performance and improve automation efficiency, scalability, reliability, and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with SOC and Incident Response teams to implement automated response scenarios.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong Python proficiency, including modular design, code quality, exception handling, and testing.
- Experience designing, implementing, and improving security event processing, detection, and response workflows through software engineering.
- Hands-on experience customizing, integrating, and operating SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and CTI platforms.
- Experience developing integrations using RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and JSON-based data processing.
- Experience designing, building, and operating systems in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex system incidents.
- Experience with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD pipeline practices.
- Preferred experience with AI-SOC platforms, LLM-powered security automation, LangChain, LlamaIndex, large-scale SOAR platforms, Kubernetes, EKS, log-processing pipelines, message queues, distributed infrastructure, and security operations dashboards.
