Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, integration, and lifecycle management of Hardware Security Modules for enterprise key management, certificate-based encryption/decryption, and digital signatures.
- Drive secure JWT signing and verification and cryptographic engineering through HSMs while supporting PKCS#11, FIPS 140, and banking security standards.
- Serve as the development lead for large-scale and multiple concurrent software projects, including architecture guidance, design reviews, code reviews, and delivery planning.
- Provide technical direction on resource usage, performance, load, memory, distributed systems, networking, and long-term architecture strategy.
- Lead cloud-native transformation and container orchestration across Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
- Champion the strategy, development, and enterprise integration of Generative AI and LLM-powered applications.
- Mentor and coach software development engineers and guide teams in engineering best practices, standards, and continuous improvement.
- Track and communicate design review, code review, CI/CD, and design-pattern adoption metrics while identifying and mitigating risks and bottlenecks.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience in application development or senior-level enterprise architecture experience with subject matter expertise in one or more areas.
- Bachelor’s or university degree required; master’s degree preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and networking.
- Experience leading HSM architecture, cryptographic engineering, secure JWT implementation, PKCS#11, FIPS 140, and banking security standards.
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes cloud-native transformation and container orchestration.
- Knowledge of Generative AI and LLM-powered application strategy and enterprise integration.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices, architecture governance, design and code reviews, testing, debugging, implementation, and delivery management.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence technical and business stakeholders, mentor engineers, and operate independently on complex initiatives.
