Base Salary
$95k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own functional, integration, exploratory, and regression testing for new features and existing product workflows.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and regression suites based on product requirements and customer workflows.
- Test mission-critical workflows including contact planning, collision avoidance, task automation, and incident management.
- Test web applications, REST APIs, backend workflows, and user-facing functionality.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects through resolution with clear evidence and expected-versus-actual behavior.
- Partner with product managers and engineers throughout feature development to identify edge cases and clarify requirements.
- Use logs, observability tools, browser developer tools, automation, and AI-assisted tools to investigate issues and improve testing efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related role.
- Strong experience with manual functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Experience translating product requirements and user workflows into structured test plans and test cases.
- Experience using test management platforms such as Rally, Zephyr, TestRail, Xray, or similar.
- Strong defect investigation, reproduction, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience testing web applications, complex user workflows, REST APIs, and complex production software systems.
- Familiarity with browser developer tools, application logs, basic troubleshooting, Git, and modern software development workflows.
- Active U.S. Security Clearance is preferred but not required.
- Applicants must meet stated ITAR eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations.
- Preferred qualities include curiosity, attention to detail, clear communication, cross-functional collaboration, organization, ownership, and thoughtful use of AI-assisted tooling.
