Responsibilities
- Partner with customers and account teams to drive long-term success and AWS adoption.
- Formulate and execute cloud adoption strategies that support customer outcomes and AWS revenue objectives.
- Design scalable, flexible, and resilient AWS cloud architectures and address customer business problems.
- Advise customers on AWS services, design patterns, best practices, migrations, and cloud modernization.
- Lead customer workshops, hands-on classes, education sessions, and deep architecture discussions.
- Develop reusable solutions with other Solutions Architects and act as the customer voice to AWS service teams.
- Build relationships with senior technical stakeholders and help customers become cloud advocates.
- Author whitepapers, blog posts, and open source contributions and speak at public events.
- Help hire, onboard, and train new Solutions Architects through mentorship and builder programs.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in relevant technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- Experience developing technology solutions and evangelizing end-to-end technology roadmaps for cloud-based IT transformations.
- Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level stakeholders, through training, workshops, and publications.
- Knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of large-scale automation and workflow management or equivalent experience.
- Strong presentation and whiteboarding skills and comfort speaking with executives, IT management, and developers.
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
- Preferred experience with generative AI technologies, including foundation models, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic architectures, and multi-agent systems.
- Preferred familiarity with AWS AI/ML services including Bedrock, AgentCore, SageMaker, and Q, as well as cloud-native architectures.
