Responsibilities
- Translate business goals and non-functional requirements into scalable solution designs and early system estimates.
- Design end-to-end architectures covering APIs, services, data stores, caching, messaging, integrations, resilience, security, and observability.
- Shape cloud-native solutions and deployment strategies across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Design ML and GenAI solutions including data pipelines, model serving, RAG, agents, evaluation, guardrails, and cost optimization.
- Build proofs of concept, reference implementations, and technical spikes to validate architecture decisions.
- Support sales pursuits with architecture designs, diagrams, estimates, proposals, and RFP responses in Thai and English.
- Present designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders and partner with delivery teams during handoff and early implementation.
- Mentor engineers, run design clinics, and contribute reusable patterns and technical thought leadership.
Requirements
- Thai citizenship is required because of project and client security-clearance requirements.
- Strong system design knowledge covering scalability, latency, throughput, availability, consistency, capacity estimation, and distributed systems.
- Experience designing REST, GraphQL, gRPC, WebSocket, webhook, API gateway, data storage, caching, messaging, and event-driven systems.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform, containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and safe deployment strategies.
- Working knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSO, encryption, API security, secure-by-design practices, logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and resiliency patterns.
- Familiarity with end-to-end ML systems and LLM-based applications, including recommendation, search, ranking, RAG, agents, evaluation, and guardrails.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, with strong data structures and algorithms knowledge and the ability to build working prototypes.
- Experience communicating architecture trade-offs, engaging client technology leaders, mentoring engineers, and collaborating across business development, architecture, and delivery teams.
- Exposure to Thai or Southeast Asian payments, QR payments, digital banking, e-commerce, telecommunications, or mobile-app systems is a strong plus.
- Thai proficiency is highly preferred and English proficiency is needed for global collaboration.
