Base Salary
$117k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers in a Scrum team to design, build, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Develop and refine technical designs for complex software challenges.
- Build and iterate on customer-focused web application features based on feedback and evolving requirements.
- Serve as a frontend or backend subject matter expert, mentor teammates, and contribute across the technology stack.
- Partner with UX designers and cross-functional teams to create intuitive user experiences.
- Improve products, technologies, and development practices while supporting team innovation.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience developing web applications.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of React, Spring Boot, Python, or Go.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience building, deploying, and supporting applications in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with microservices architectures and distributed systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%.
- Preferred qualifications include an active Secret or Top Secret clearance, React framework experience, database experience with Redis, Elasticsearch, or TimescaleDB, UX/UI experience, CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Ansible, or ArgoCD, Docker and Kubernetes experience, and leadership or mentoring experience.

- Base pay varies by location, with stated ranges of $117,000–$185,000 annually and $145,000–$218,000 annually for specified San Jose, San Francisco Bay Area, and New York City metropolitan area locations.
- The role may require travel of up to 10%.
