Base Salary

$120k - $199k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis, design, development, configuration, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documentation, monitoring, and implementation for assigned systems.
  • Analyze and resolve advanced-complexity defects and incidents, escalating issues appropriately.
  • Define technical requirements, coordinate resources, and manage interactions with other systems and technical support areas.
  • Work independently on well-scoped and loosely scoped problems while delivering complete solutions in small batches.
  • Contribute to software design strategies, estimate timelines, identify tradeoffs, and build solutions for varied use cases without over-engineering.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced employees.
  • Collaborate with business and engineering stakeholders, clarify vague requirements, and communicate technical information clearly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
  • Four years of programming/development or additional software engineering experience.
  • Experience with cloud computing, including AWS Serverless/EKS and/or Azure.
  • Proficiency with API development, React.js and/or Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or Python.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, eventing systems, relational and document databases, automated and unit testing, source control, CI/CD, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and observability platforms.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub, Jenkins or Azure DevOps, Agile/Scrum tools, and coding assistants such as Claude or GitHub Copilot.
  • Demonstrated domain expertise, problem-solving ability, communication skills, intermediate delivery skills, and intermediate leadership skills.
