Responsibilities
- Establish security best practices for mobile, on-premises, and cloud-based platforms.
- Partner with product and development teams throughout the software development lifecycle on application security, threat modeling, secure design, code review, and remediation.
- Develop and maintain secure SDLC processes, a software maturity model, secure coding programs, and security standards.
- Conduct security assessments, security testing, vulnerability validation, and vulnerability triage.
- Automate security tools, tasks, defensive controls, detection rules, and the integration of security controls into development and deployment workflows.
- Establish supply chain security processes and ensure third-party software meets security standards.
- Integrate and maintain SAST, DAST, container security scanning, and open-source security analysis during development.
- Own and manage secure SDLC tooling and customize security tools for security teams and developers.
- Provide remediation guidance to programmers and management and mentor development teams on secure coding techniques.
- Support the bug bounty program, security releases, and ongoing response to emerging adversary techniques.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- At least one information security certification is required: CISSP, CEH, GIAC CPEN, OSCP, OSWE, CWAPT, GWAPT, or GWEB.
- Strong communication and technical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team, are sought.
