Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and operate AWS cloud infrastructure and services supporting global R&D, analytics, workflow automation, and data platforms.
- Design and operate reliable, scalable, secure, and multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters using Amazon EKS.
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code with CloudFormation or CDK.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and CodeBuild.
- Operate platform services including Databricks Runtime, DataHub, Temporal.io, and SyncThing.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, metrics, observability, and performance baselines.
- Support troubleshooting, incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.
- Apply cloud security, IAM governance, encryption, compliance, Well-Architected, and cost-optimization practices.
- Create runbooks, architecture diagrams, standards, and operational documentation.
- Mentor junior and mid-level cloud engineers and lead technical discussions and engineering decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Solid professional experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE.
- Solid hands-on experience building and operating AWS environments.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
- Strong hands-on Kubernetes and Amazon EKS experience, including deployment, scaling, observability, and security.
- Experience with CloudFormation or CDK, enterprise cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, cloud security, IAM governance, encryption, and production troubleshooting.
- Experience with Docker, GitHub, CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Splunk, and container security is preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS Bedrock, LLM-based architectures, enterprise identity systems, AWS networking, and multi-account patterns is preferred.
- AWS Solutions Architect – Professional or an equivalent advanced cloud certification is preferred.
- Strong SRE background, including resiliency engineering, SLIs/SLOs, and incident response, is preferred.
- A master’s degree in computer science or engineering and strong communication and technical leadership skills are preferred.
