Responsibilities
- Define integration architecture, standards, contracts, interface specifications, and reusable integration patterns for OEM and partner connections.
- Own the DMS surface integration layer across DT, TDK, and Reynolds and guide Xtime teams in applying common patterns.
- Support external integration programs, including OEM partnerships, certification expansion, manufacturer implementations, and third-party device/provider integrations.
- Lead architecture working groups and establish engineering standards, technologies, frameworks, strategies, roadmaps, and policies.
- Provide systems and integration architecture advice across major programs and solution initiatives.
- Define subsystems and interfaces, allocate responsibilities, communicate solution requirements, and support planning and technology releases.
- Collaborate with business and technology leadership, supported teams, suppliers, and partners to align technical expectations and business needs.
- Recommend technology and process improvements that increase organizational effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and six years of related experience, or a master’s degree with four years, a Ph.D. with one year, or 18 years of related experience without a degree.
- At least six years of experience designing reference architectures, architecture patterns, and integration standards including REST, SOAP, and API gateways.
- Experience with multi-cloud strategies, infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation, and hybrid cloud security.
- Expertise with Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud platforms.
- At least five years translating complex architecture into strategies for technical and business audiences through models, reference architectures, frameworks, diagrams, and viewpoints.
- Demonstrated enterprise-scale platform implementation experience.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and large-scale platform initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Automotive industry background or interest, preferably involving DMS and OEM integrations.
