Responsibilities
- Own technical direction and architecture for custom software solutions.
- Lead teams through software design, implementation, and delivery.
- Build and maintain large-scale distributed risk calculation systems for the equity derivatives domain.
- Establish and enforce development standards, coding practices, and code quality expectations.
- Make technical decisions and provide solutions across immediate and multiple teams.
- Analyze and optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Mentor team members and support their technical and professional development.
- Coordinate cross-functional software integration and delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes and product quality.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Java Standard Edition.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Experience designing and implementing software architecture.
- Ability to analyze and optimize application performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
- Competence in debugging, testing, and maintaining high-quality codebases.
- Equity derivatives domain expertise is relevant to the role.
