Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive test plans and test cases, including positive, negative, and edge-case scenarios.
- Design, develop, and execute scalable, maintainable automation scripts for web, Android mobile, and API applications.
- Build, maintain, and improve automation frameworks and identify opportunities for test automation.
- Write readable automation code, participate in code reviews, and apply software engineering best practices.
- Integrate and maintain automated test suites within build, test, and deployment environments.
- Collaborate with deployment teams and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve system issues.
- Take ownership of assigned features or modules and maintain stable, reliable test execution.
Requirements
- Three to five years of overall software testing experience with a strong focus on automation for mid-to-senior-level candidates.
- Hands-on experience with web, mobile, and API automation using Selenium, Appium, and REST-based tools.
- Strong programming skills in at least one of Java, Python, or JavaScript, with the ability to write clean and maintainable automation code.
- Experience with WebdriverIO and behavior-driven development frameworks such as Cucumber, including framework improvements.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC and experience working in Agile development environments.
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions, including automation-suite integration and maintenance.
- A formal Computer Science degree is preferred; junior candidates with demonstrable skills and experience are equally valued.
- Ability to take ownership of features or modules and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
