Base Salary
$79k - $111k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance Helios platform features using Core Java 8, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs.
- Design and develop application components through analysis, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Identify application vulnerabilities and security gaps, then implement fixes through debugging and testing.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, indexes, triggers, and other database objects.
- Integrate Maven or Ant, Jenkins, SonarQube, and related CI and code-quality tooling.
- Consult with business users and technology teams to diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and support deployed systems.
- Assess technical risks and ensure solutions meet compliance and reliability standards.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on Java/J2EE development experience in financial services or a comparable technology environment.
- Proficiency with Core Java 8 and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Core, Spring MVC, and Spring JDBC.
- Experience with JDBC, JPA, ORM frameworks, RESTful web APIs, and JSON-based data exchange.
- Working knowledge of SQL, including queries, stored procedures, indexes, and triggers.
- Familiarity with Ant or Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, and JUnit for unit and integration testing.
- Ability to analyze systems, identify solutions, deliver results under pressure, and manage shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree in a relevant technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

- Primary location salary range is $79,320.00-$110,680.00 per year.
