Base Salary
$155k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build tooling and self-service capabilities for deploying enterprise AI solutions using Kubernetes/OpenShift, Python, authentication solutions, APIs, and REST frameworks.
- Develop Terraform modules and cloud architecture for secure AI service deployment and consumption at scale.
- Build reusable platform solutions for generative AI use cases using pre-trained and fine-tuned models.
- Develop containerized Kubernetes/OpenShift workloads and integrate large-scale vector stores for embeddings.
- Define generative AI ecosystem best practices covering tools, models, libraries, and agent-builder frameworks.
- Implement generative AI solutions focused on agentic orchestration and agent-builder frameworks.
- Author architecture decision records covering authentication, service communication, state externalization, container layering, immutability, and product selection.
- Improve platform reliability and operations through upgrade and release blueprints, logging, monitoring, metrics, and system-management automation.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and the team's on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent job experience.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, design, and development.
- Strong hands-on application development experience in a prominent programming language, preferably Python with Flask or FastAPI.
- Broad understanding of data engineering, SQL, NoSQL, big data, Kafka, Redis, data governance, data privacy, and security.
- Experience developing, managing, and deploying Kubernetes workloads, preferably on OpenShift.
- Experience designing, developing, and managing RESTful services for large-scale enterprise solutions.
- Experience deploying applications on Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud using Terraform and infrastructure as code.
- Hands-on experience with multiprocessing, multithreading, asynchronous I/O, and performance profiling.
- Demonstrated DevOps experience, including CI/CD with Jenkins and GitOps.
- Experience with testing practices, including unit, performance, and BDD/acceptance testing, is preferred.
- Understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenTelemetry tooling, microservice architecture, cloud application configuration, blue/green deployment, distributed state sharing, and cloud database engines.
- Experience building generative AI and LLM-based applications, embeddings, model fine-tuning, AI agents, agentic orchestration, multi-agent workflow automation, and agent-builder frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.
- Understanding of ModelOps, MLOps, LLMOps, and SRE techniques.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and collaborate across global teams and time zones.
