Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate scalable infrastructure and tools supporting more than 1 billion monthly requests.
- Configure and troubleshoot deployments while enabling teams to manage containerized applications with Kubernetes and cloud-native tooling.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and technical leadership to improve reliability, system performance, and deployment velocity.
- Monitor, test, automate, and improve systems with a focus on observability and operational scalability.
- Design infrastructure and build reusable, modular components using Terraform.
- Share knowledge, mentor peers, and improve engineering practices and team culture.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, Production Engineering, Platform Engineering, or SRE in high-scale production environments.
- Proven expertise with GCP and confidence scaling infrastructure for high-traffic services.
- Experience managing and maintaining Terraform state and evolving Terraform infrastructure stacks.
- Ability to write code in Go, TypeScript, or another modern language and quickly understand existing codebases.
- Collaborative and proactive approach with an interest in mentoring, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
- Kubernetes expertise, including running, securing, scaling, and debugging workloads, is preferred.
- Deep knowledge of system performance and resilience engineering is preferred.
- Experience with global software rollouts, multi-tiered deployments, canary deployments, or staggered deployments is advantageous.
- Deep Go or TypeScript coding experience is advantageous.
