Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated testing activities to improve product quality.
- Automate functional, regression, performance, and acceptance tests.
- Own and enhance end-to-end automated test coverage.
- Design test cases and perform black-box, exploratory, feature, smoke, and regression testing.
- Test web applications and APIs and report defects.
- Analyze requirements with Scrum teams and provide test recommendations.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, customer service, operations, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the line manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Likely 2+ years of software testing experience, depending on learning speed and technical development.
- Good knowledge of software development and software testing processes.
- Experience with manual testing, including test case design, black-box testing, exploratory testing, and defect reporting.
- Experience testing web applications and APIs; mobile testing is a plus.
- Working knowledge of test automation using Selenium, Playwright, or Katalon.
- Basic coding ability in Java, C#, JavaScript, or a similar language.
- Experience using Postman, Git, and IntelliJ IDEA.
- Ability to self-learn, adapt to new technologies, work under pressure, and communicate directly with clients in upper-intermediate English.
- Experience using AI chat tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini for research, debugging, and learning is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code is a plus.
- Ability to write contextual prompts and awareness of AI output limitations, data privacy, and responsible handling of sensitive client data are a plus.
