Responsibilities
- Test Taco Bell UK marketing campaigns across web, mobile app, and in-store kiosk channels using manual and exploratory testing.
- Remotely access and test kiosk applications using tools such as TeamViewer while following security and access procedures.
- Act as the main QA contact for UK client stakeholders, owning campaign testing and reporting quality directly to the client.
- Present quality updates, review test results, and confirm release readiness during occasional evening calls with the UK client.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to test builds at the end of sprints and before production releases.
- Plan, execute, and report on testing while tracking defect escape rate, test coverage, and other quality metrics.
- Identify repetitive scenarios that could be automated and grow test automation capabilities over time.
- Lead defect management by prioritizing, tracking, and driving issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- At least four years of software quality assurance experience.
- Experience working with overseas clients and stakeholders, distributed global teams, and cross-functional engineering, product, and DevOps teams.
- Experience or willingness to use remote access tools such as TeamViewer for testing kiosk applications on remote devices.
- Strong written English communication skills and at least basic conversational spoken English.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and ability to adjust testing priorities, tools, and approaches as products and requirements change.
- Basic knowledge of test automation tools or frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium is preferred.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman is preferred.
- Experience in retail, food and beverage, or e-commerce environments is preferred.
