Responsibilities
- Estimate testing effort and create test approaches, plans, cases, and status reports.
- Execute manual tests for web, iOS, Android, and API applications using black-box, risk-based, and exploratory techniques.
- Track defects and manage testing activities using appropriate test management and defect tracking tools.
- Use AI chat tools, AI coding assistants, and AI agents to improve test design, scripting, API testing, SQL validation, documentation, speed, and coverage.
- Participate in sprint planning, analyze requirements, and provide QA and testing recommendations.
- Collaborate with QA engineers and Scrum team members to align test approaches and share knowledge.
- Support product growth initiatives such as competitor research and customer troubleshooting.
- Follow data security and confidentiality policies when using AI tools and handling client information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on software testing experience.
- Intermediate English proficiency with the ability to discuss technical topics comfortably.
- Experience testing web, mobile iOS/Android, and API applications.
- Strong knowledge of test approaches, test plans, and black-box, risk-based, and exploratory testing techniques.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira and TestRail.
- Basic SQL skills for test data validation.
- Hands-on experience using AI chat tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini in real testing work, including strong prompting skills.
- Practical experience using AI coding assistants such as Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code for test scripts, API tests, or SQL.
- Understanding of AI agents and MCP, including responsible handling of sensitive client data and awareness of AI limitations.
- Ability to self-learn and adapt quickly, with strong collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, methodical, and detail-oriented skills.
- Experience creating and running automated tests with tools such as Katalon, Selenium, Robotium, UiAutomator, XCTest, or XCUITest is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with TestNG, Mocha, or Jest is a plus.
