Responsibilities
- Help lead the development and global rollout of a machine learning research framework for model definition, training, optimization, and deployment.
- Integrate the research framework with the platform used to deploy and run models in production.
- Partner with Quantitative Researchers to test hypotheses and develop systematic trading strategies and alpha signals.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Machine Learning, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or a similar field.
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in MLOps, Research Engineering, or ML Research.
- Strong background in mathematics and statistics.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with NumPy, PyTorch, Polars, pandas, and Ray.
- Experience designing and implementing end-to-end machine learning pipelines covering data preprocessing, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Familiarity with modern software development practices and tools, including version control, automated testing, CI/CD, and observability.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
