Responsibilities
- Diagnose and fix software and hardware issues across InstaCore devices.
- Utilize AI tools for scripting, log analysis, and rapid tool-building.
- Flash firmware, provision devices, and support calibration workflows.
- Build and improve scripts and diagnostics for easier failure detection.
- Document recurring failure modes and write clear RCA notes.
- Collaborate with robotics engineering, field operations, and QA teams.
- Engage in continuous learning to deepen ownership of InstaCore systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or a related field.
- Up to 2 years of experience in software engineering.
- Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++ programming languages.
- Experience with Linux shells and basic lab tools.
- Familiarity with embedded systems and robotics concepts.
- Strong communication skills for documenting and escalating issues.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
