Responsibilities
- Develop new simulation training environments.
- Design new behaviors and extend the capabilities of Persona robots.
- Deploy software to hardware, log data, and analyze results.
- Create or implement algorithms for modeling, training, sensing, or deployment.
- Characterize hardware sensors, actuators, and general robot parameters.
- Collaborate with a designated mentor to define and complete a project.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or Masters student.
- Software proficiency in Python, C, C++, Java, or Rust.
- Experience with basic machine learning concepts.
- Bonus experience with PyTorch or similar tools, physics simulators, robot hardware controls deployment, reinforcement learning policy training, motion diffusion models, vision-language-action models, character animation, vision, or localization.
