Base Salary
$107k - $177k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, develop, maintain, and improve scalable web applications using modern frontend and backend frameworks.
- Integrate generative AI models into web-based products through APIs or fine-tuned models.
- Build and maintain solutions that ingest, unify, enrich, process, and analyze large disparate data sets.
- Deploy applications and data solutions on cloud platforms and work with big data technologies.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and AI/ML engineers to create intelligent user experiences.
- Write tests, participate in code reviews, and ensure quality and product excellence.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and opportunities to improve data systems and solutions.
- Apply data-driven approaches and business understanding to connect technology solutions with client outcomes.
- Work with government clients and potentially at client, EY, or contractor sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- At least 3–5+ years of experience with modern web development, including JavaScript or TypeScript.
- At least 3–5+ years of backend development experience with Node.js, Python, FastAPI, or similar technologies.
- Experience integrating generative AI models into applications through APIs or fine-tuned models.
- Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Vercel.
- Understanding of statistical modeling, ETL, data ingestion, data cleansing, and data engineering.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies in the Hadoop, AWS, or Microsoft ecosystems.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, information systems, statistics, computer science, or a related discipline.
- Preferred: experience with vector databases, AI inference optimization, open-source AI and web projects, RAG, or model fine-tuning.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and business understanding skills.
- Willingness to work in person as needed and travel 20–30% or more.
Benefits
- Base salary is $106,900 to $176,500 across US geographic locations, with a separate range of $128,400 to $200,600 for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California excluding Sacramento.
